Dr. Emily Jordan is originally from Garland, Texas.  She received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin and her Doctorate of Optometry from The University of Houston College of Optometry.  She is thrilled to be back in her favorite city and enjoys walking her dog at Town Lake. 

Dr. Jordan is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.  While in optometry school, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and acted as a class note taker.   Her externships included learning about pre and post-operative refractive surgery at a US Army base in Schweinfurt, Germany and diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease at a clinic in Dallas, TX.  Dr. Jordan is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
