Dr. Brianne Neal is a native Texan who earned her bachelor's degree in Biology from the
University of Texas at Austin and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston. She moved to Austin from Houston in 2007, was married in November 2008 and now resides in Bee Cave with her husband and young daughter and her dog. She is very excited to be back in the Austin area and to make this her permanent home.
In school, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society and continued her education after graduating in order to become an optometric glaucoma specialist. She did internships concentrating on geriatric ocular disease, neurologic ocular disease, and specialty pediatrics. She was grateful for the opportunity to work in Germany at an army hospital examining pre and post operative refractive surgery patients as well as specialty pediatric cases. Her last rotation was at the McPherson Retina Center in Houston where she gained valuable experience in low vision therapy. She has realized that a great doctor is one that takes the time necessary to meet all of the patient's needs and she makes that commitment to all of her patients.
Dr. Neal is a valuable member of the Master Eye Associates group in Austin, Texas and sees patients at the Hill Country Galleria, Mueller Center and Round Rock.
