CK is an exciting procedure to improve the near vision for people who have had good vision all their life until they hit the 40's and began losing their close up vision. It is the safest of all refractive surgery procedures. And since it is often only performed on one eye it may also be the cheapest of the procedures. In keeping with our leading edge reputation, Master Eye Associates was one of the first 50 practices in the U.S. to offer CK to patients. Dr. Lacey has appeared on local television news stations to educate the public on CK and he has been instrumental in helping other eye doctors in Central Texas learn about CK. We have achieved good success with CK and many patients have been able to minimize or totally eliminate the use of bifocals or progressive lenses in their glasses.
