Dr. Meera sampat

Dr. Meera Sampat is an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist and Therapeutic Optometrist having earned her degree in Boston, MA at New England College of Optometry. She is trained in completing comprehensive eye examinations for the whole family, diagnosing and managing ocular diseases, performing pre- and post-operative care for refractive and cataract surgeries, and fitting various contact lenses. 

She values taking the time to listen to each patient’s needs and providing personalized care, as well as fully informing the patient about their ocular health. By keeping up with the latest technology and advancements in eye care, Dr. Sampat provides patients with the best options that fit their unique lifestyle. She prides herself in leading with kindness and compassion and is motivated by creating a long-lasting relationship with her patients. 

Dr. Sampat recently moved from the East Coast to Austin, TX with her husband and enjoys spending her free time trying new foods in and around Austin, visiting local coffee shops, spending time with family, and finding new experiences. She and her husband are also avid travelers and hope to one day retire to Cape Town, South Africa.
