CooperVision (NYSE: COO) recently announced that its Biofinity brand of soft contact lenses is the fastest growing contact lens brand in the U.S. The number of new patients wearing Biofinity lenses grew faster than any other frequent replacement contact lens brand in the past 12 months with its toric (for astigmatism) lenses leading the monthly toric category. Although the lenses are not FDA approved for 30 days of continuous lens wear, they are approved for seven days and six nights of extended wear.
It appears that more and more eye doctors are discovering the benefits of these superior
